Ronald McDonald House - Fort Smith
Next to Mercy Hospital Fort Smith
Take a virtual tour of the new Ronald McDonald House!
RMHC of Arkoma is excited to announce the addition of an eleven-bedroom Ronald McDonald House in Fort Smith! The 8,500 square foot Ronald McDonald House provides crucial amenities for families of children ages 21 and under. In addition to the eleven overnight suites with full baths, the program includes a laundry room, kitchen, fully stocked pantry, dining room, playroom with outdoor playground, media room, and covered porch for relaxing. Located on the campus of Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, next to the Labor & Delivery Tower, families will be within walking distance from their child during their hospital stay.
Since opening our doors on November 10, 2021, we have served over 191 children and families from the community.
Thank you to all of the generous donors who have helped us #BuildTheHouse
Purchase a Home of Hope
A gift that brings comfort to families, including your own.
Share your symbol of comfort with families and friends:
- Memorialize a loved one
- Celebrate a family member or friend
- Honor your family name
- Recognize your organization
When you do, you will:
- Give stressed parents nights of stay near their child in the hospital.
- Give families a hot meal when they return to the House at night.
- Create a “home-away-from-home” for families who have no other options.
- Have a permanent symbol of love and honor inside the Ronald McDonald House
We invite you to support a family with your own “Home of Hope.” The Homes will be installed in our hall of hope to inspire comfort for the brave families we serve. Learn more.
With the construction and establishment of a larger floor plan, the New Ronald McDonald House presents an opportunity for individuals and companies to sponsor the annual operations of one of many family areas. To sponsor and name an available space, please contact email@example.com.
Families with children undergoing medical treatment deserve a supportive and comforting space to stay close. Contributions to the ‘bringing comfort home to Fort Smith’ capital campaign send a message of hope and strength to families when they need it most.
