Share-A-Meal & Freezer Meal Program
Provide a comforting meal for our families
The Ronald McDonald House strives to cover the daily necessities of everyday living at no cost while families navigate the journey of having a hospitalized child. Our Share a Meal and Freezer Meal programs allow us to provide families with the comforts of food that evokes feelings of happiness, safety, and control.
A major part of the feeling of home is food or having the comforts of food readily accessible. Through our Share a Meal and Freezer Meal programs, we promise dinner each night for our families at no cost.
Families tell us that having access to meals is one of their favorite and most impactful programs that provide support during their hospital stay. These programs help ease some of the stress that families experience by removing the effort in planning a meal, prepping, and preparing food when they only have a few hours to themselves.
Each year, we provide dinner for 2,200 children and families who pass through our doors. Every night at 6 p.m., 365 days a year. Our families count on us, can we count on you?
How does it work?
*When dropping off dinner, please leave with a Ronald McDonald staff member to ensure your donation is taken to the families.
*If serving with a group of people, please call us ahead of time so we can make plans for multiple drop offs.
