Give the gift of your time for families in need
GUEST SERVICES VOLUNTEER
The primary responsibility of a guest services volunteer is to assist in providing a “home-away-from-home” for families of ill or injured children. Our volunteers do a little bit of everything, including checking-in families, baking desserts, restocking rooms, light housekeeping, answering phones, assisting with mailing, data entry, and more.
Generally our volunteers commit to at least one three hour shift each week at one of our three locations. In Rogers and Fort Smith, the Family Rooms are operated with volunteers and staff 7 am – 10 pm daily. The House in Fayetteville operates 24 hours a day with staff and volunteers.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you need an accessible version of one of these applications.
With the many worries that come with having a child in the hospital, dinner should not be one of them. You can help our families by cooking a meal, so they can focus on what is really important: their child. Our Share-A-Meal volunteers are vital to the success of our programs.
There are many pieces that go into creating a comfortable stay, and we are incredibly grateful for our friends in the community who help provide families with the daily necessities they need most. We are always seeking travels sized toiletries, snack food items, family-sized frozen meals, stamps, and cleaning products.
Holding a Wish List Drive is a great way for community groups, office teams, classrooms, and clubs to combine their efforts to make a BIG impact! We also have many special young friends who have chosen to donate their birthday and collect wish list items in lieu of gifts.
