Our programs welcome the immediate family of children 21 or under who are being treated by the medical community we serve.
Can children stay at the House or Family Room?
Usually, children who are patients do not stay at the House, except when the child is being treated on an outpatient basis. Often, our House families include young siblings of the patient, so the House does frequently have children in residence. At this time, because our Family Rooms are not staffed overnight, minors are not able to stay overnight at those particular programs. We are always looking for ways to improve our families’ experiences, so this may change in the future.

Who operates RMHC of Arkoma?
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkoma is governed by a Board of Directors who are responsible for major policy decisions affecting the organization and its programs. The Board hires the President & CEO, who is responsible for carrying out that policy and accomplishing the goals set out by the Board.
How many staff members are there?
Our administrative staff consists of: a President & CEO, a Director of Operations, Program Directors, Development Directors, and a Business & Database Coordinator. The House is staffed 24/7/365 and the Family Rooms are staffed daily (including weekends and holidays) by several Guest Services Managers and of course by our incredibly generous volunteers!
